Of Process

GardenofDisasters.150dpi

A revelatory exhibition into the process by which artist Karen Kunc creates her woodcut prints. Doodles become drawings, carved woodblocks transfer ink to paper, color sequences and evolutionary process enable her powerful visual expression to emerge.

Of Process will be on display in the Constellation Studios gallery from January 18 to April 5, 2014.  Opening reception to be held on January 18th from 6:00 – 9:00pm, more details in the event post.

Great Progress on the Mural!

I want to thank all of you who have given a hand and enabled great progress to happen on my mural at Constellation Studios. It has come a long way, and looks amazing! Right now the weather is going to put a slow down on what can be done, until spring. Also, what is left  to do is up high and needs to be done from the scissors lift or ladders, and also so much yet needs my touch to do the blending and special color effects. So, keep watching and eventually I will get back to this huge project… it has been fun and consuming… with a great presence now on ‘O’ Street!
