New Workshops ahead!

Upcoming summer workshop Ink, Water, Wood:   Mokuhanga Woodblock Printmaking, August 14 – 17, will be a good introduction and complement to my signature workshop Color Woodcut Printmaking, October 16 – 20.

This traditional Japanese watercolor woodblock printing method will be focus of the 2nd International Mokuhanga Conference, which I am helping to coordinate as a member and chair of the International Board.   I have a personal mission to develop the aesthetics, techniques and various approaches to woodcut prints world wide.   This immersion into Ink, Water, Wood will refresh my experiences and prime me for the conference in Tokyo, Japan, September 10 – 13.

Following on the great success of June’s woodcut printmaking workshop, I will again offer Color Woodcut Printmaking Workshop, around our fall break time.   Lots of interest and limited places, so make plans to join in.   Here are some nice prints created in the workshop, and some of the great people who made those prints!
