Meet with artist/papermaker Andrea (from Indiana) on her traveling circuit.  She is a specialist with natural fibers for papermaking.

Suminagashi marbling is the process of floating sumi ink on water then laying down a sheet of paper to retrieve the black and white pattern. This process is traditionally done on kozo made papers but can be successful on western style made papers. This hands-on workshop will go over the basics of the sumi marbling process and then explore a range of western style papers to create marbled papers. This workshop is to see what papers work for you.
