Fall Foliage for papermaking with local plants

Now is the time for harvesting papermaking fibers from your garden.  We will discover the variety of plants that give unique sheets special characteristics, as we make nature inspired handmade paper.  Leaves that work: iris, daylily, bluestem, hosta, yucca, corn (not husks or woody stems or stalks).  Gather and dry out the material ahead of time…it is going to dry up anyway!
