Join Karen Kunc for Below the Surface – Etching & Collograph Printmaking, Saturday & Sunday, February 21 & 22, 9:00am – 4:00pm. For all levels, and spaces are limited. $150 workshop fee ( + materials fee of $30 paid on site)
These intaglio techniques explore marks and textures created “below the surface”. Etching creates line drawings into copper plates with beautiful details and line qualities. The collograph is made from low tech “collage” plates for unusual effects of textures. Simultaneous plate-making will complement the process and stages of making.
