Join Karen Kunc for A Bookmaking Workshop – Dramatic Gatherings. Saturday & Sunday, January 24 & 25, 10:00am – 4:00pm. For all Levels and spaces are limited. $150 workshop fee (+ materials fee of $15 paid onsite)
A hands-on workshop that begins with making playful monoprint pages using letterpress type, stencils, and inky washes. These pages set the stage with color and play for two different books. The dramatic Leporello Accordion is built from sequential square pages, giving options for arrangements and front & back contrasts. The sewn Tacket binding book will have covered boards and interesting stitches on the spine. These books will be showpieces and suitable for additional journaling.
