Rubber Stamp Carving & Printing with Toan Vuong

April 26-27, Sat & Sun 1:00-4:00pm

Create hand carved relief blocks to print on paper in this introductory workshop. Learn about how simple shapes can tesselate to create unique patterned papers, and stamping can accumulate for readable images with shadows and details. Toan has developed his stamp-printed works with humor and social commentary inside the realistic narrative. Suitable for all skill levels. Children five and up are welcome (& free) if accompanied by an adult.
